The Bulldog Band has had a busy start to the 2017 school year! The Band has had their second performance in just the first two and a half weeks of school! PLUS, this week was Homecoming Week! However, the Bulldog Band was prepared for all the additional performances! The Bulldog Band led the 2017 Homecoming Parade with their new uniforms! The EHS Fight Song was played and helped to spur on the School Spirit and excitement of the Homecoming Royalty! The Band played well, marched great, and had a blast performing for our community and friends! Later in the evening, the Bulldog Band would provide music for the Annual Bonfire and Pep Rally in the empty lot between Fugate Motors and Woods Grocery Store. The Band collaborated with the Cheerleaders to perform a special dance to "Land of 1000 Dances!" The Band was well received and added a lot to the environment of the Pep Rally! FINALLY!!! IT WAS GAME DAY! Senior Drum Major, Caleb Alexander, was a nominee for the 2017 Homecoming King. He was the only non-football representative. As it turned out, Caleb won the Homecoming Crown, which was voted on by the entire student body! It is great to know that our student leader is looked upon so highly by so many students! Caleb looked great in his Medal and Dress Attire as he still marched Pregame and Halftime! The Game was a great game to watch! It was fun to be part of that great atmosphere, even though the Bulldogs walked away with a loss. The Bulldogs have been working so hard this year, and it is great to see the Bulldog Band cheer on the team! We have a great time representing our school at ballgames!
