On Monday, December 17 at 7:00 PM the El Dorado Springs High School Gym was filled with much excitement from the students, parents, and friends of the Bulldog Band. The concert consisted of the 6th Grade Beginning Band, Junior High Band, and High School Band performances.
The 6th Grade Band took parents and friends on a journey from the beginning of school year to level at which the kids are playing at currently. The students started their portion of the concert by sharing with the audience how we remember to sit up correctly, how we started to make a good sound on our mouthpieces, and various lines showcasing the students' newly acquired skills. The Band then closed their portion of the concert by playing an arrangement of Jingle Bells, The Dreidel Song, and Christmas Fun! The next band to take the stage was the Junior High Band. The Junior High Band has been working hard all semester and has been making vast improvements. The Junior High Band played Angelic Host Proclaim!, All is Well, and Bobsled Run! The Junior High Band received a lot of praise for their performance! The final band to play on the concert was the High School Band. The High School Band has been busy throughout the entire semester. Mr. White explained to the audience the various activities, fundraisers, performances, and appearances the Bulldog Band has made in just the short 4 months of school. The High School Band performed All the Bells Shall Ring!, Silent Night, and Scherzo for Santa. Congratulations on a first performance of the concert season! We look forward to hearing more from these ensembles as the year goes on!
